About

Ten years of following the harvest

It started with a job I took for the summer and never really left: a cellar in the north of Portugal, a family who fed me at their table every night, and the discovery that wine is far more interesting when you know whose hands were on it.

Since then I’ve worked harvests, sold wine, studied it properly, and spent an unreasonable amount of time driving between small producers in places most itineraries skip. Roam with Red is the sum of those relationships: a handful of retreats a year, a supper club at home, and private trips for people who’d rather be somewhere real than somewhere famous.

I keep every group small on purpose. Eight people fit around a family’s table; forty do not.
